The Spring 2017 issue with the cinematic photobook as theme, the cover features standard frame sizes and the interior includes illustrated interpretations of Edward Muybridge’s photographic studies in motion throughout the issue.
A photo book of Matthew Porter’s portfolio of images of vintage muscle cars captured in mid-aid, designed to focus on the landscape and poetic elements of the photographs. The design was adapted to a poster as well.
Custom hand-lettering for the cover and title for Rachel Kushner’s essay accompanying the Porter’s photographs.
Aperture trade-edition photo book of Martin Parr’s beach photos paired with vintage fabrics. For the accompanying exhibition opening there were a limited number of custom towels made. Winner of the 2013 Design Observers 50 Covers | 50 books.
